Without learning we stagnate, yet much of the learning that adults do is abstract, internal, and un-growthful. Room for Growth helps people learn by changing. We create new tools for developmental learning, using all of the resources we have together.
Although many feel that current conditions in their life hinder growth and happiness, we have learned that people can grow new skills, emotions, relationships, and life conditions by building social tools for growth, in therapy, in families, workplaces, relationships and communities, at any age or stage of life!
At Room For Growth we create our ‘cure’ together by talking and creating a safe place to be who we are becoming. We build inclusive and anti-oppressive social environments to maximize individual and community growth.
Toronto’s Room For Growth Counselling is in the tradition of social and clinical development pioneered by The East Side Institute For Group And Short-Term Psychotherapy in New York City. It is practiced throughout the U.S., Europe and for four years now in Toronto, Canada. We are part of the development community, and we help people from the full color spectrum, with diverse politics and all personal orientations.
